DANIEL SNIDER, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Certified Athletic Therapist

Daniel uses an integrative approach to create a safe and customized treatment program. He believes in empowering people to take an active role to improve their health and wellbeing. Daniel has a special interest in cranial osteopathy including neck injuries and concussion management. Treatment may include: cranio-sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, muscle energy, passive vertebral mobilizations, soft-tissue techniques (including fascial stretching, membrane tension, ligamentous balance), and rehabilitative exercise programs.

Daniel completed his Bachelors of Kinesiology and Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario (2003). He graduated with Honours from Sheridan College (2008) with a Bachelors of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy. Daniel completed his diploma in Osteopathic Manual Therapy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy (2021). His research project is titled “The Effect of Osteopathic Treatment on Vestibular Dysfunction from Minor Traumatic Brain Injury: A Study Design and Mini Case Series.”

Daniel has worked with York Simcoe Express AAA Hockey Club, Toronto Skillz Soccer Academy, Oakville Soccer Club, OWHA Hockey, Burlington Braves and Burlington Stampeders Football Clubs. Daniel has also provided event coverage for various events including Skate Canada, Phil Esposito Fantasy Hockey Camp, J&J International Cup, and the Canadian Wheelchair Rugby Championships.
